Speaking about autism might be the beginning of the dialogue and the questions; actually doing something to change autism is the beginning of the answers. Individuals on the autism spectrum will remain victims of their disorder if we, as their advocates, are not creators of a new destiny for them. People with autism, and those who love and care for them, have been swept up in the waves of mediocrity for far too long. The LifeRaft Foundation (LRF), a 501(c)3 Corporation, has a more powerful and transformative premise: We empower people to expect excellence and make it happen with LifeRaft. The LRF has developed a revolutionary curriculum of the same name – LifeRaft – for children with autism and other learning differences.
About the LifeRaft System
LifeRaft is a comprehensive web-based educational curriculum and empowerment system. It has been developed over a period of fifteen years and offers beautifully created teaching materials, data collection tools, advocacy aids, video demonstrations and an extensive curriculum for families, educators, administrators and other professionals. It is a turnkey system, adaptable to the individual needs of the learner, high-quality, high-value and practical to administer. LifeRaft is easy to use and effective. Anyone can navigate the system from the comfort of a laptop or tablet. Educators can customize the lessons for each learner. Grandparents, older siblings, neighbors or other mentors can also become involved to create a meaningful new destiny for an individual with special needs. The future can be a daunting place when autism is present; LifeRaft brings the hope, help, measurable solutions and practical instruction to provide clarity, peace and sustainable progress for children and adults on the autism spectrum. LifeRaft is also applicable for many of the 1 in 6 children the CDC identifies with speech and language impairments, developmental and intellectual disabilities, and cerebral palsy.
